The X2 is a two stack weight machine that simply makes working out a little easier. Separate stations allow you to quickly jump from one exercise to the next with little hassle. Having separate stations also means a better fit to each exercise. Rather than all exercises combined on one 4' x 6' footprint, the X2 spaces out things giving a more customized fit.
