For 2008, we are very excited at what Damonback Fitness has to offer for their treadmill lineup. Their treadmills offer rock solid construction, straight forward programming, extremely quiet operation, and one impressive warranty. Diamondback fitness is a longtime player in the fitness equipment industry. Diamondback Fitness is owned by Raleigh bicycles which is one of the largest bicycles manufacturers in the world. This fact alone gives us a warm fuzzy feeling when it comes to parts and service down the road. Typically, treadmills within this price range are very feature focused treadmills that lack quality components and/ or construction. When treadmills offer fans, speakers, fold up, offer complex screens, downloadable programs, heart rate galvanic pick ups , etc ... they are simply putting more money into the cosmetics of the machine than the actual components.
Syracuse Fitness Store will be stocking the 400Tm and 500Tm treadmills. We feel that these two machines are the best within their price class. The 400Tm is the most basic machine in their line up. The machine offers very basic programming with a spacious 20" x 58" walking area. We leave the motor cover of this machine on our showroom floor to show you the quality of components and craftsmanship. A large cool running 2.0 hp Turdan motor speeds the machine to 10mph. The 400Tm offers a 10% incline to work different muscles within the legs and increase intensity without having to increase speed. The machine is backed with a 5 years parts warranty. Once you get on the machine and feel the solidness and hear the quietness, we know you'll be very impressed. The 500Tm treadmill from Diamonback takes our Best Buy award. Upgraded from the 400 series treadmill, the 500 series offers a lot for a little price upgrade. The 500Tm treadmill offers a larger 2.5 hp Motor which helps increase the weight capacity and speed range of the machine. The Console is loaded with motivational programs. One of our favorite Diamondback features is the Random program which offers unlimited computer generated programs. A great way to change it up and keep your body guessing. The 500Tm also comes equipped with Interactive Heart Rate Control programs. The machine will read your heart rate through a wireless transmitter and change automatically in intensity to keep your heart rate in a certain range. The incline range is increased to 12% to offer a more aggressive hill or hiking climb. No excuses, bring in your sneakers to try it out.
