Nautilus continues for 2008 with their Sport Series treadmills that has received its fair share of rave reviews. From Runners World magazine, to the Wall Street Journal, and websites such as about.com and treadmilldoctor.com, the Sports Series treadmills from Nautilus has been highly praised. We like when a manufacturer doesn't change their models from one year to the next, it's evidence that they know what they are doing. The Sport Series treadmills are made in the same US factory as their high end commercial models costing nearly twice to three time the price. Making their own hyperdrive motors, they back all components on the machines for 10 years. With a global company such as Nautilus, the commercial treadmills are the testing grounds for their residential treadmills which essentially leads to their praise.

What sells the Nautilus treadmills more than anything is the feel and look of the machines. While most companies are making the consoles larger and larger, the Nautilus Sport Series treadmills offer a very low streamlined console. This gives the user a very open feel when using the machine. It is nice that if you plan to put a television in front of the treadmill, you will actually be able to see it. The handrails that are on the Sport Series offer a cross bar that is at a perfect gripping height and keeps the user the perfect distance from not stepping on the motor cover. The feel of the machine is provided through their patented react absorption system. In simple terms, regardless of the users weight, the absorption is going to feel the same to everyone. On any other competitors treadmill, a heavier person is going to get a different response than a lighter user.

The Nautilus Sport Series are offered with 3 different treadmill bases which include the 5.14, 5.16, and 5.18. Depending on the features you seek or what your looking to get out of the machine, a particular model will fit your needs. Listed below are the treadmill base features. Once you have decided which base best fits your demands, there are 3 different electronic packages to choose from. All the console screens offer ample programming, the more expensive the screen, the prettier the feedback. Most customers either want all or nothing, making the LE-X console the least popular.
